Shanghai Design Week 2012

Shanghai Design Week 2012 is going to be held during the same time of "The 18th China International Furniture Expo". It is a great effort to promote the Chinese original design concept. This year, the design week will be divided into several sections as follows:

• Design of Designers(China International Design Trading Expo)
  A brand-new platform, "Design of Designers", will be formed this year at Hall 4 of Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center. The work of 2011 Golden Axe Award's winner, which is the mostly recommended and highest level competition in Chinese furniture industry will be showcased as well. Audience will be able to come in to contact with many work designed by all kinds of talented designers that tagged with "HOME". There will be fascinating design forums, presentations and relevant events are presenting at the same time.
  
  
• W5 Hall of Design (SNIEC)
  W5 is named "Hall of Design" which is a collection of excellent furniture brands worldwide and designers' works. "Hall of Design" represents the latest trend of home decoration, the most creative original design works, and the latest released furniture. "Hall of Design" fully mobilized the creative passion of furniture manufactures and designers, and strive to push the idea of "Made in China" upgrade to "Design in China".
  
  
• Expostore
  "Expostore" is an alliance formed by more than hundred famous furniture stores and flagship stores in Shanghai, to showcases the spirit of original design and creativity in full-scale. Therefore, audiences will be able to see plenty of exquisite designs and products outside the fair. "Expostore" also provides opportunity for domestic buyers to harvest appropriate products and services. "Expostore" aims to help China International Furniture Expo to be one of world's best furniture trading fair.
  
  
• Creative Industrial Park
  During the design week, the fair is joined by some creative parks namely M50, 800 Art, The Bridge 8, 1933 Shanghai and Highstreet LOFT, it goes without saying, they will presents you many interesting events and demonstrations on the topics such as environmental, home decoration, fashion and the relevant - "comes from life, and goes back to life".
